Rick is the backbone of our rhythm section, effortlessly holding down the bottom end. Rick started playing bass at age 11, at age 13 started playing in local bands. In 1974 he headed to Nashville for a steady gig playing the Grand Ole Opry with the Billy Walker show. Since then he has played with artists like Tanya Tucker, T.G Shepard, Connie Cato, and many others. During this time Rick was also one of the most sought after session musicians in Nashville.

Joined the band Shut Up And Drive until getting an opportunity to play in Las Vegas with The Eddie Cash show. In 1987 he formed The Virgil Kane Band.

Rick has shared the stage with artists such as, Charlie Daniels, Alabama, George Straight, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, The Oak Ridge Boys, and many many more.
